A very sweet, touching, inspiring story, paired with great illustrations. The little Faith is a blessing to readers as well. I enjoyed reading this book with my son.

A great book that teaches children about having faith and patience when they get a new brother or sister. Even when it comes in the form of an adopted sibling.

This sweet book does an excellent job helping children wait on Gods timing for His good blessings, like a new brother or sister. I love the story and how relatable and understandable it is ♥️

This is a wonderful book and I enjoyed sharing it with my children and answering the questions about adoption.I would recommend this to families that are looking to foster and adopt or just to educate others about the process.

This is a very sweet story, it made me tear up. We are not a religious family but this story is still one I was happy to share with my children – it’s not an “in your face” religious book (as some can be). My children really loved how the importance of “keeping faith” is mentioned throughout the book and “Faith” ends up being her name, they were very excited about that. 🙂 Definitely recommend!!

I loved this story! The journey in which the family takes while waiting for their newly adopted sibling is heartwarming. Throughout the book, the theme is to keep faith that the right answer will enter, and to know it was the will of their faith. It’s so lovely to read a children’s book that gives a promise of HOPE, no matter the outcome. I highly recommend this book to all children. Kids can read it themselves or have read to them—another wonderfully written and illustrated collaboration by this author and illustrator.

I loved this story! It’s written in a simple and engaging style that both kids and parents will enjoy. It teaches the merit of faith in G-d and patience. Most importantly, it sets an example. We are so busy looking for ways to influence our kids to be good and kind, when the best way is to set an example. The example that the parents set their children in this book is worth more than anything they could learn from a book or a parenting course. Everyone has something to learn from this lovely book!

As an adoptive mom of a beautiful three year old daughter, I am always looking for adoption stories to share with her. I thought this book was adorable. It was easy to read and easy for my daughter to understand. I love the way the title and ending match up so perfectly. God truly did have a plan for this sweet family. It is a Christian based book for those who like to know that. The illustrations were also beautiful. They were very colorful and truly draw you in.Overall, I would recommend this book to any child and family, whether adoption is a part of your story or not.

Because we are an adoptive family I realize the importance of this beautiful story. There is a great need for foster and adoptive families in the United States and the world today. Over 425,000 children are in foster care today. One of the “excuses “that a mom and dad will give is that they don’t think their children will be able to adapt or adjust to a new family member. This book is a wonderful way to start the conversation and get the kids excited about having a child that is chosen and matched by God come and join the family.I love the title… It takes much faith to walk out God‘s path in adoption and I love it when they say they’re going to keep our faith over and over again and then they get to actually keep their new sister named Faith. I know I’m probably spilling the beans but the author was super creative in that way. This book is for anyone who is considering foster and adoption and they already have children. It’s also perfect for families, churches and schools …to bring empathy and understanding. I do believe even foster and adoptive children will understand how special they are when they read this and know how excited a family can be in the preparation phase. The illustrations are really really cute and will keep the interest of the children. I think reading this will help the children in a family to emulate the children in this book as the characters have modeled, and will voice their “Positive “ opinions and excitement for the coming child or children that join their family for a short time or even forever. There is such a stigma in some people’s minds about bringing in a foster child, especially if what they really want to do is adopt. There are a lot of foster situations that don’t end up in adoption because reunification is the goal. All these children want is a family that will treat them like one of their own. There is so much love that a child can receive even in a short amount of time that can totally remake their world. I’ve heard of so many foster families that only do it for the money and that is the wrong motive. There are parents out there that give the excuse that they would fall in love and be too badly hurt if the child had to move onto either another home or go back with her family. That is making it about “them “… It needs to be only about the foster child and their needs. Meeting their needs consistently and doing “time in” and not time out as a consequence and nurturing them with plenty of structure is the answer. God’s love heals!Books of this nature are so wonderful and I am keeping a list on my website for the nonprofit EL4KIDS.org. My goal is to give books like this to Adoptive and foster families. I am super excited to list this book on my website.I have written “Freddy The Foster Frog finds a friendly family” and a soon to be released book number two “Freddy The Foster Frog finds a forever family”. My book is much more serious in it’s content but fun as well. It’s a fabled story with a twist of rhyme, one that you’ll not often find…and is meant for age 7 to 99. It is used with curriculum in therapy practices and in schools and with Guardian Ad Litem’s and families that are fostering and adopting. It is a great complement to this sweet story about looking forward to “keeping Faith.”Keep up the great work Becky!Don’t forget to read Becky’s other books.
