We have several Magic Of Me books because grandson loves them! The language is a little stilted, but the concept seems to work. Encouraging relatable discussion while having our bedtime stories. He always picks one of these books.

Becky Cummings has done a wonderful job combining her talents as a teacher, mom, and poet to create a fabulous picture book to read with children. “My Magical Choices” includes adorable, sweetly drawn illustrations with lessons on being a good citizen, friend, family member, teammate, classmate, and sibling. Parents and children will love reading the rhyming verse together as they discuss the importance of being helpful, kind, generous, a good sport, and many other essential lessons. We need more positive books like Cummings’ thoughtfully crafted “My Magical Choices,” which will inspire children to act with intention and make a difference in the world.

I really like the book, but highly disappointed in the quality of book. I purchased Magical Words and have read that about 12 times it is perfect. I finally began reading Magical Choices to my little one first week of September and on the 2nd or 3rd read, I noticed the pages coming loose from the bind. My daughter was so disappointed because now she I can’t read the book to her. I wanted to buy more from this series, but I am so nervous it may do the same thing.

Love everything about this book but it falls apart in less than a week with gentle used. Very bad binding

Gave as an adoption gift and the family really loved it. The main character looks like the boy I gave it to, and he really liked seeing himself in the story. Mom told the therapist about the book and how it was helpful to give examples of how he could think about things and choose to respond in a different way. The therapist is going to get one so she can share it with clients.

I liked that this children book illustrates through children that they have so many choices in life and how that makes a difference to the enjoyment of our time on earth. Lovely and exciting illustrations. My 3 year old grandson really liked the book!!! And that matters to me.

This is a great book for kids learning and working through big feelings. I think it’s been great for my daughter to learn the good qualities in ourselves and what they mean. Forgiving, courageous, friendly… they have to be taught and this book is a great help.

The book is great, but why on EARTH is the writing on the spine down to up rather than up to down!?!? It is so annoying to look at on the shelf when all the other books are oriented the same, except for this one.
