What a beautiful, warming and heartfelt story that I read with my six-year-old daughter and my baby. It teaches about the kindness of sharing and giving but also the importance of making sure we take care of ourselves so we aren’t left with nothing. I could relate to this lesson as well! It served as a nice reminder to make sure that our cups are full before we start pouring everything to others. Not only was I able to make a connection to myself but also we were able to make a connection to the outside world and making sure that we don’t make any purchases that involve animals being hurt. What a lovely story with a great life lesson!!! I also couldn’t help myself and bought the books for my nephews too! ❤️

My favorite part of this book is Goat going out to make “Goat Angels” lol. Really made me laugh. The book is of great importance of why caring of yourself is necessary. Ms. Hare, being overly kind forgot that by giving all of her fur away, she had nothing left to keep her warm. Happy endings I will not share, but there is a very happy ending for Ms. Hare. Great book Becky! Thanks for thinking of me!Robert

This book teaches us the importance of taking care of ourselves as well as caring for others. A great book to read with your children. I loved the cute illustration and the message from the author at the end as well. It’s so important to teach our kids and ourselves not to use animals for fur or skin and not to buy products that use them.
