This book is the perfect Thanksgiving book for any child! My 8 year old read it to my 5 year old, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. A true highlight was the twist at the end – we were all relieved and delighted by it! From the dedication to the recipes at the end, this book is simply adorable!I must admit, I was a bit concerned for Gobble thinking he was destined to the dinner plate versus a seat at the table; I was elated to discover he was, in fact, a guess and not the main course. I appreciate the way the writer shares her personal beliefs towards eating practices creatively an that the reader doesn’t feel like they were lectured. It is such a balancing act and Becky passed with flying colors.I recommend Gobble Gobble Mr. Wobble as a great story as well as a book parents may share to encourage a vegetarian lifestyle.Great job, Becky! P.S., I hope those whiskers grew back.
