Whether you’re feeling sad, angry, lonely, loved, scared, safe, shy, or bold, kids will learn it is okay to experience them, which will empower them. The illustrations are cute and colorful, in a similar style to the previous books in The Magic of Me series.

As a mom and early childhood educator, this book is amazing for children while they are trying to navigate their feelings as a young child. It is developmentally appropriate, and provides children with the proper words in order to express how they are feeling. The pictures are beautifully drawn and my children love the rhyme and excitement each page has to offer! It is a wonderful addition to our home library and I will be purchasing it as a gift for my children’s teachers!

With so many different things going on in today’s world, kids face new challenges that the kids before them didn’t have to. All those challenges lead to new feelings and this book stresses the importance of accepting those feelings and being able to handle them. So important to teach that early on and help children develop the ability to express themselves.

I love the beautiful words and illustrations used in this book to help our children understand how important it is to feel, understand, and accept our emotions in order to let them process organically. This is a wonderful tool to help my child build their self-awareness and grow into an emotionally intelligent adult. What a wonderful gift for anyone who has feelings especially now when there are so many distractions in today’s world!

The love and vibrancy in all the books are felt immediately. The colors, diversity and loving messages truly has positive growth of our children at heart! My just turned 6yr old son loves all the books. He often will read them on his own. This particular book gives current to times examples of many emotions high and low and the consistent message here is that all is okay! Great addition to our home library especially for bedtime storytime.

This book is a great resource for teaching kids about emotions. As a therapist who has worked with young children it is hard to find a book that provides such clear and concrete education on emotion identification, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this. I also really liked how it promotes acceptance of the range of emotions a child can experience with examples relatable to their developmental age. I’m excited to share this book with others!
