Charming, colorful illustrations will keep littles engaged as they learn about different emotions. Honoring them for what they are, letting them come and letting them go, these are things we all need to know. The heart meeting him at the door, so sweet!

After our youngest was born, our oldest was having a hard time transitioning. After 4 years of being an only child he’d gotten used to having more time to work through fits or big moments with us. His frustrations grew when he realized baby brother was held when crying but he could not always be held. We started talking about our emotions and with this book and other strategies he’s really begun to tell us and others how he’s feeling. He liked this book because of the varying colors and multiple reasons for the feeling on each page.

We need resources like this book in every therapy office and classroom! This book is such a fun way to teach children about their feelings and how to recognize varying emotions. The book has great illustrations to go along with the story. The book addresses various emotions and normalizes them without labeling them as bad or unwanted. Great job!

I bought series for my grandson whom is on spectrum. As anyone raising a child on spectrum knows managing and understanding feelings and social skills can be so frustrating for them. My grandson took exactly what he should take away from each book. I was so excited and these are the books he chooses to read. As he’s trying to navigate friendships right now and this helps. Thanks Magic in me!

This is a good book about recognizing and accepting all your feelings. This book talks about many feelings from happiness to sadness to angry to shyness. It gives examples of each and let’s children know it’s okay to have all these feelings.
